Tim Greer

Tim Greer is the only member not from Ohio: he was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He started playing jazz and blues gigs on saxophone and piano when he was 14 years old. Since then, he has performed piano and saxophone all over the world for devotees of all genres.

On top of working with Saticöy and scoring short films (which is a story for another day), Tim earned his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Southern California in LA, where he computationally studied how music is used to invoke particular emotions, particularly in film, television, and advertisements. He can confidently say that he applies the principles that he learned during his studies to the music that he works on with the böys.

In his free time, Tim plays water polo, does the New York Times crossword, and plays Dungeons and Dragons and other board games.
